About GSRI

We are a non-profit organization that was formed in early 2016 to support a public challenge to improve K-12 student performance in Rhode Island to levels equivalent to or better than those in Massachusetts.

Comprised of concerned citizens, business leaders, educators, elected officials, clergy, and parents, our organization works to inform all Rhode Islanders about the state of our schools, the variety of ways in which they can be improved and how citizens can participate in their improvement.
